About our faith

The core belief of Catholicism is in The Holy Trinity: God The Father, Jesus The Son, and The Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus died to redeem us from sin and was resurrected. We believe that through good works we can shine the light of God’s love on Earth.

Our religion includes sacraments that we receive at stages of our lives, starting with Baptism as an infant. During the years children are at St.Jude, they can prepare to receive First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in 2nd Grade and later, Confirmation.

Throughout the school year, there are opportunities to put our faith into action. We gather supplies and raise funds for charities in our community. We encourage all of our students to think and act with compassion and respect for others.

We teach from a Catholic perspective, but we welcome people of all faiths into our community.
